Frank Lonegro, one of the few top executives at CSX Corp. who survived a management upheaval two years ago, is leaving as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Jacksonville-based railroad company.

Lonegro has worked at CSX for 19 years and was named CFO in September 2015. In a late Tuesday afternoon news release, CSX did not give a reason for Lonegro’s departure.

The company named Kevin Boone as interim chief financial officer and said it is searching for a new CFO.

Boone joined CSX in September 2017 as vice president of corporate affairs and chief investor relations officer.
