Arlington Wawa construction permits in review; Baymeadows Park construction plans approved

Ascension St. Vincent’s buys Arlington land for ER.

The city is reviewing permit applications for construction of a Wawa gas station and convenience store at 1331 University Blvd. in Arlington.

The 6,202-square-foot store and 7,150-square-foot canopy are planned on 1.77 acres at a total construction cost of almost $1.1 million.

The site is at northeast University Boulevard and Arlington Road. 

Baymeadows Park

 The Jacksonville Planning and Development Department Development Services Division approved construction plans Oct. 14 for Baymeadows Park, planned east of Interstate 95 along Baymeadows Road between Baymeadows circles east and west.

The proposed 95,000-square-foot, five-building project will comprise a hotel, restaurants, retail and office space. Starbucks Coffee Co. is in review for the site. Joyce Development Group LLC is the developer.

Ascension ER in Arlington

Ascension St. Vincent’s paid $1.4 million for 1.62 acres at 9820 Hutchinson Park Drive for construction of an emergency center.

  The health system bought the land from GL National Inc., part of Gate Petroleum Co.
