The city issued a permit for Elite Construction of Jax Inc. to build-out a 1,800-square-foot tenant space for Mini Bar Donuts & Coffee in Gateway Village at Town Center at 10618 Deerwood Park Blvd., No. 1.

The cost is $275,000.

Chipotle to Brooklyn Place

The city is reviewing a permit application for Chipotle to build-out a 2,500-square-foot restaurant at 50 Riverside Ave., No. 705, in Brooklyn Place at a cost of $210,000.

Southern Grounds in Avondale

Site development plans are in city review for the proposed Southern Grounds coffee bar and wine bar and an art gallery in the Shoppes at Avondale.

Avondale Sogro LLC owns the property at 3562 St. Johns Ave. and is demolishing the 61-year-old building to develop a 7,848-square-foot structure that will include a 163-seat restaurant.

Pizza Pizza Pizza to San Marco

Ashco Inc. requested a JEA service availability report to add a Pizza Pizza Pizza restaurant at San Marco Union Hall at 1435 Naldo Ave.

Jacksonville-based Ashco Inc., a retail developer, launched the pizza concept with its first unit along Bowden Road in the Southpoint area.

Three more are planned in River City Marketplace, Beach Plaza and the San Marco location.
