The University of North Florida Brooks College of Health’s Master of Health Administration program was inducted into the Mentorship Circle of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education.
The mentorship circle designation is a group of 23 higher education programs recognized for engaging in mentorship, disseminating best practices and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in their own programs and across the field of graduate healthcare management education.
“This membership recognizes that we provide the highest quality of education to ensure our students as well as the greater health administration field are prepared to solve complex global healthcare problems using the best practices and innovative solutions,” Rob Haley, UNF’s MHA program director and professor, in a news release.
UNF’s MHA graduate program has been CAHME accredited since 1998. The program prepares students to serve as effective administrators, managers and leaders in organizations and agencies that make up the health services field.
It’s specifically designed to promote student engagement in Jacksonville’s expanding healthcare industry.
CAHME accreditation is the established standard of measurement for graduate healthcare management education.
