A second Culver's restaurant is coming to Northeast Florida now that the city issued a permit for construction in Collins Town Center at a cost of $1.45 million.

The city approved a permit for McCon Building Corp. of Highland, Wisconsin, to build a 3,546-square-foot Culver's at 7923 Parramore Road on 1.05 acres at southwest Interstate 295 and Collins Road in southwest Jacksonville.

GPZ Solutions LLC of Rockford, Illinois, is the landowner. Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer.

Wisconsin-based Culver’s opened its first Northeast Florida restaurant, serving ButterBurgers, frozen custard and cheese curds, in July in Middleburg and has several more sites in review.
