Regions Bank announced Dec. 21 that it promoted Jim Branch market executive in Northeast Florida.
Branch has nearly 20 years of mortgage banking experience, the last 13 with Regions. He joined the company in 2008 as a mortgage loan officer and was the bank’s mortgage production manager for the past seven years.
“Jim is a dedicated leader who understands the financial needs and opportunities affecting people and businesses across Northeast Florida, and I know his experience and insights will help us build on our legacy of delivering superior customer service while making strategic investments in the community,” said John Turner, president and CEO of Regions Financial Corp., in a news release.
As market executive, Branch will work with Regions’ business groups to help their teams deliver Regions360, the bank’s approach to meeting customers’ needs.
Branch also will work with colleagues and community members to identify opportunities for the bank to advance its priorities for community engagement such as financial wellness, education and workforce readiness, and economic and community development.
“As financial professionals, the most rewarding aspect of our roles is helping clients envision what’s possible and then building a plan to turn that vision into a reality,” Branch said in the release.
Branch serves on the board of directors for HabiJax, the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and the board of trustees for St. Johns Country Day School. His community involvement includes volunteering with Junior Achievement and the Navy Ortega Lakeshore Little League.
