Baptist Health announced Feb. 13 it acquired 3½ acres in The Exchange at eTown, the master-planned community at Interstate 295 and Florida 9B.
The property is long the north side of E-Town Parkway off the 9B exit.
Keith Tickell, Baptist Health senior vice president of strategic assets/real estate, said in a news release that Baptist would start with primary care at the site, which includes digital health and wellness services.
About 100 families have moved into eTown in the past several months. The community is planned to include up to 2,000 homes, along with a community amenity center and a village center with retail uses. The Hub, eTown’s welcome center, opened in October.
Baptist Health is the first commercial development announced for the community.
