Tapout Fitness building in Mandarin

The “martial-arts infused fitness” center will open its first area location in Oldfield Crossing.

The city issued a permit Feb. 13 for Donnell Design & Construction Inc. to build-out a 5,000-square-foot space for Tapout Fitness in Oldfield Crossing in Mandarin.

The location at 4268 Oldfield Crossing Drive, No. 201, is the city’s first Tapout.

Build-out is $203,462.

Tapout calls itself “martial-arts infused fitness” with boutique studios.

The Marietta, Georgia-based company, founded in 2014, said it has more than 25 locations in development in the U.S.

It says it is part of the Tapout brand family. Tapout is owned and operated by Authentic Brands Group and World Wrestling Entertainment.
