Earth Fare, the natural and organic grocer, says it will close all locations Feb. 25.

Asheville, North Carolina-based Earth Fare operates about 50 stores nationwide, including three in Northeast Florida.

The chain announced it was closing Feb. 3 and began liquidation sales.

The company cited “continued challenges in the retail industry” and the inability to refinance its debt as reasons for closing.

In St. Johns County, Earth Fare is at 120 Shops Blvd. in the Shoppes at St. Johns Parkway.

In Jacksonville, the chain is at 11901 Atlantic Blvd. in the Atlantic North shopping center and at 11700 San Jose Blvd. in the Mandarin South Shopping Center.

An email sent by Earth Fare on Feb. 24 says items are 90% off original prices, with limited exceptions.

“There is no tomorrow!” the email concludes.
