Cecil Field POW/MIA Memorial Inc. plans a groundbreaking at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 18 for the National POW/MIA Memorial and Museum at its Cecil Commerce Center property at 6112 POW-MIA Memorial Parkway.

The first phase includes the remodeled Chapel of the High-Speed Pass and adjoining benefactors park.

The 26-acre national memorial honors former prisoners of war and those missing in action. Cecil Commerce Center is the former Naval Air Station Cecil Field.

Richard Street building sale

NAI Hallmark announced that Managing Partner Christian Harden and associate Patrick Carney represented the sale of a two-story office-medical building at 5836 Richard St. for $1.125 million.

NAI Hallmark represented seller Stalwart Development Group LLC. The buyer is HSJ Richard Street LLC. The property comprises 11,532 square feet.

Apply to Leadership Jacksonville

Leadership Jacksonville is accepting applications for its adult Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2021.

The program, Aug. 14, 2020, to May 21, 2021, involves the selection of more than 50 Northeast Florida leaders to build relationships, explore community issues and work to become better community trustees.

The nine daylong programs and two weekend retreats address areas of community concern, including poverty, education, arts and economic growth.

Applicants must complete an online application, available through Jan. 23, and may be invited for an interview.
