Retail notes: Scrubbles to Atlantic North; Gate Carwash to Cedar Hills

Scrubbles Express Wash owner Todd Buckner intends to open a car wash this fall in Atlantic North at northwest Kernan and Atlantic boulevards in East Arlington.

He said the Scrubbles Express Wash flex model will have 20 vacuum spaces on the express side and eight covered spaces in the full-service area.

The city calculated a mobility fee of $27,367 to mitigate the traffic impact of the proposed 5,131-square-foot project on 1.55 acres at 11901 Atlantic Blvd. 

Gate Carwash to Cedar Hills

The city issued a permit for North Coast Construction Co. to build a Gate Express Carwash on 1.86 acres at 3510 Blanding Blvd. in the Cedar Hills area at a cost of $1.4 million.

It’s a 5,089-square-foot building.

Bad Axe Throwing to Springfield

JEA is reviewing a request for utility service availability for Bad Axe Throwing in a 4,370-square-foot building at 1719 N. Main St. in Springfield.

It is expected to open in the spring.
