Retail notes: Renovations approved for Argyle Publix; CVS renovating two stores; GoPuff moves

The city approved interior renovations for Publix Super Markets Inc. at 6001 Argyle Forest Blvd. in Argyle Village Shopping Center.

Elkins Construction LLC is the contractor for the $723,164 project.

The 52,525-square-foot store was built in 1998.

CVS in Northside, Westside, Arlington

CVS Pharmacy wants to renovate its North Jacksonville store at 50 Duval Station Road at a cost of $225,000.

It was built in 2008. It also filed plans to renovate at 4475 San Juan Ave. at a cost of $300,000. It was built in 2011.

CVS has opened its East Arlington store at 11900 McCormick Road. The city issued a permit for the 13,250-square-foot store at a project cost of almost $2.7 million.

GoPuff’s four locations

The goPuff delivery service of convenience items has three locations and is working on a fourth.

Documents show three locations in Whitlock Business Park in Arlington; AC’s Square along St. Johns Bluff Road South, in the Florida State College at Jacksonville area; and 6639 Southpoint Parkway, where GoBrands Inc. was approved for a zoning exception to sell beer and wine, part of its inventory for delivery.

It also applied to the city to do business at 1240 Walnut St. in Springfield.
