Clay County Clerk of the Circuit Court Tara Green is the 2020-21 president of Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers.

She was sworn in June 23 by 4th Circuit Judge Don Lester during the organization’s annual summer conference, conducted virtually because of concerns about COVID-19.

Green unveiled the theme that will guide initiatives during her presidency: “Leading the Drive for Excellence.”

“I want to focus this year on how clerks can drive innovations in efficiency, service and technology to serve this state and our constituents,” Green said in a news release.
