Gate plans to renovate at Town Center.

Gate Petroleum Co. filed an application for a building permit to renovate the interior of its convenience store at 4123 Town Center Parkway at a cost estimated at $450,000.

The store is at Town Center Parkway and St. Johns Bluff Road.

Publix in North Jacksonville

JEA determined service availability for Northpoint Village Shopping Center at northeast New Berlin and Yellow Bluff roads to be anchored by Publix Super Markets Inc. and outparcels.

The first phase of 16.86 acres will comprise Publix and 16,600 square feet of adjacent store space.

The second phase is entitled for up to 64,000 square feet of retail, medical and office space.

International Management Co. LLC is the developer.

CVS in West Jacksonville

The city approved a permit for the $300,000 renovation for the CVS Pharmacy at 4475 San Juan Ave.

It includes new fixtures and self-checkout units.

Aldi at Durbin Creek Crossing

St. Johns County is reviewing an application for construction of a 19,209-square-foot Aldi discount grocery store at $1.65 million at Race Track Road and St. Johns Parkway.
