Paycor Inc., a nationwide payroll and human resources company that opened its Jacksonville office 20 years ago, intends to hire up to 130 people as it expands in Southside.
Spokeswoman Katy Bunn said Paycor employs 90 people at its 11,000-square-foot office in Greystone Business Park at 10550 Deerwood Park Blvd., No. 306, where it has operated since opening in Jacksonville.
It will expand by April into an additional 33,696 square feet of space at 6735 Southpoint Drive S. in Innovation Park.
“We will be undergoing a complete space renovation including new furniture, fixtures and equipment,” Bunn said. Paycor is not disclosing its investment.
Bunn said the expansion makes room for an additional 130 employees.
“The additional headcount hiring will begin once the additional occupancy occurs,” Paycor said in a statement.
Paycor will hire for client service-based positions. Jobs posted online for Jacksonville include client support specialists, sales executives and implementation consultants.
Paycor.com says organizations across the nation use Paycor’s Perform online system.
“Every Paycor client is assigned to a specific team of HR, payroll, and timekeeping specialists. There’s no call centers here,” it says.
The Cincinnati-based company says it serves more than 30,000 small and medium-size businesses nationwide.
Colliers International Northeast Florida announced Dec. 3 that Paycor leased space at Innovation Park, a two-building office complex at 6735 and 6737 Southpoint Drive S. previously used by CSX Corp. CSX vacated the space in March 2018. Colliers said occupancy now is 85%.
