Senior Vice President and General Counsel Barbara Johnston will retire May 1 from Jacksonville-based Regency Centers Corp. and be succeeded by Michael Herman. Johnston became Regency’s first general counsel in 2010. Herman will join the company April 6 as senior vice president and general counsel-elect. Herman comes to Regency after serving as senior vice president and general counsel of Jacksonville-based Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. since 2013.
Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville Inc. President and CEO Mary Kay O’Rourke will retire Dec. 31 after 23 years. She joined HabiJax in 1997 as the family selection coordinator. The board of directors appointed her interim CEO in August 2004 and named her to the top job in May 2005. HabiJax will start a search for a new president and CEO.
The Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens board of directors hired Dana J. Doody as executive director. She most recently served as director of development with the North Florida Land Trust, where she raised more than $3 million.
Photographer and owner Kellea LeSage opened Eternal Crown Photography’s corporate headquarters at 3731 Hendricks Ave. in San Marco. She started the company 13 years ago as an on-location business.
