JEA issued a service availability letter for Petra to build-out space for Reddi-Arts at 1731 N. Main St. in Springfield.
Kelly McCormick bought Reddi-Arts in January from Bruce Meiselman, who owned it for 47 years, and plans to relocate it from 1037 Hendricks Ave. in San Marco to Springfield.
Jacksonville-based Chase Properties bought the Hendricks Avenue property for redevelopment into Southbank Crossing, which will incorporate retail and restaurant space.
Until then, Chase will allow Reddi-Arts to remain in the building.
Petra Vice President Elias Hionides said Jan. 10 that Reddi-Arts would be leasing the first floor at 1731 N. Main St. The 7,170-square-foot space is next to Crispy’s Springfield Gallery, a restaurant that also displays art for sale.
The city and the St. Johns River Water Management District are reviewing permit applications for CrossFit Ferrum/Element 26 Property Management Inc. at 14801 Mandarin Road.
C. & R. General Contractors Inc. is the contractor for the 7,848-square-foot project at a cost of $686,166.
The city issued an expedited mobility fee calculation certificate for the project.
It calculated a fee of $83,219 to support the impacts of a 7,850-square-foot project on 1.39 acres. Goodson Bergen & Associates is the civil engineer.
A single-family home would be removed from the site. CrossFit Ferrum, a fitness gym, has a location in Saint Johns.
Cheri Mooney and Andrea Werner are the co-owners and partners in Element 26.
