Workers were removing Stein Mart’s name Nov. 5 from the Southbank headquarters building it anchored.
The bankrupt Jacksonville-based fashion retailer is liquidating its headquarters inventory.
Stein Mart Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Aug. 12.
It closed its 279 stores in 30 states as of Oct. 26 after weeks of liquidation sales.
The furniture, fixtures and equipment are being sold at the headquarters at 1200 Riverplace Blvd.
The liquidator will be on-site until late November, by appointment only.
Stein Mart leased more than half of the building.
The more than century-old company moved its headquarters to Jacksonville in 1984 from Mississippi.
