Firehouse Subs announced the grand opening of its first restaurant in Wildlight in Yulee, at 40 Homegrown Way Suite G, in Nassau County.
It is the Jacksonville-based brand’s third “Restaurant of the Future” prototype in the Jacksonville area.
Firehouse said dining room seating will be capped at 50% to ensure proper social distancing.
Outdoor patio seating and to-go ordering are available.
JEA is reviewing a service availability request for interior build-out for Anejo Cocina Mexicana at 40 Homegrown Way in Wildlight.
The project is for Anejo of Yulee Corp.
The Culver’s franchisee said site work has begun at 7818 Gate Parkway and it intends to open the restaurant at the end of August.
GateLite3 LLC paid $1.3 million March 22 for almost 1.54 acres.
The city is reviewing permits for a 3,820-square-foot restaurant on the property.
The city issued a site-clearing permit March 16.
