Restaurant Notes: Cold Stone Creamery to Ortega Park; Hala’s to Shad Landing

Green Papaya and Grumpy’s to Fountains at St. Johns.

The city is reviewing a permit application for a 1,200-square-foot build-out for Cold Stone Creamery in Ortega Park at a cost of $157,705.

It will lease space in an 11,200-square-foot building at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd., a shopping center also known as Roosevelt Square.

Atlanta-based Dewberry Group owns Roosevelt Square and is redeveloping the 60-year-old property.

Hala’s to Shad Landing

A permit is in review for Hala’s Mideast Eatery and Market at 5285 Shad Road in Shad Landing, an Ash Properties shopping center. Suncrest Builders is the contractor for the $106,819 build-out of 2,894 square feet.

Green Papaya and Grumpy’s to Fountains at St. Johns

St. Johns County issued a permit to build-out the 4,000-square-foot Green Papaya restaurant at 175 Fountains Way, Suite 7, in Saint Johns at a cost of $135,000.

It also issued a permit for the $250,000 build-out of 3,800 square feet for Grumpy’s Restaurant at 155 Fountains Way, Suite 1.
