The Louisiana-based Main Squeeze Juice Co. juice and smoothie bar franchise announced July 29 that it will open in early August in Jacksonville Beach, which is its first store in Florida.

Restaurantnews.com announced the opening.

Main Squeeze will open at 544 Marsh Landing Parkway near the Target-anchored South Beach Parkway at Butler Boulevard and Florida A1A. Cody O’Hara, director of PR and communications with Franchise Elevator PR, said Aug. 1 that Main Squeeze’s grand opening is Aug. 6-8.

“With 22 locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, this location will be the brand’s first in Florida,” the release said.

Spencer Turner, 25, is the Jacksonville owner and operator. O’Hara said Turner can open 10 stores in the Jacksonville area.

The store will offer promotions that include $5 smoothies and juices and free T-shirts for the first 100 customers of each day. Spencer will offer $5 acai bowls the following weekend, the release said.

“As someone who prioritizes their health, it was essential that I brought a business to my community that provided nourishment and helped others live healthy lifestyles,” Spencer said in the release.

“With the opening of the new store in Jacksonville Beach, I hope to create a central location for people to come together and enjoy one another’s company,” he said.

Sleiman Enterprises owns South Beach Parkway. A brochure shows Main Squeeze will occupy an almost 1,500-square-foot space in a multitenant building on an outparcel of the center. The release said the store will have an outdoor patio.

Spencer previously worked for a pharmaceutical company.

Main Squeeze designed a gluten-free and vegan menu with cold-pressed juices and superfoods smoothies, along with one-, three- and five-day juice cleanse programs, shots, and acai bowls.

Founded in 2016 and franchising since August of 2017, Main Squeeze Juice Co. is based in New Orleans.

Main Squeeze expects to open more than 60 additional franchisee- and corporate-owned stores throughout the Southeast and Midwest over the next several years.
