The area’s second Crumbl Cookies will open Aug. 27 at 11406 San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin Oaks, with a ribbon-cutting at 7:45 a.m.
The soft opening is Aug. 26. Sharmain Powell is the franchise owner.
The area’s first Crumbl Cookies opened July 9 at 3267 Hodges Blvd. in Pablo Creek Plaza East. Nicholas Lai is the franchise owner at that address.
The city issued a permit Aug. 12 for Chipotle Mexican Grill to build-out a former Whataburger at 3860 University Blvd. W. in Lakewood.
Horizon Construction Co. of Alpharetta, Georgia, is the contractor for the $769,708 project of the 3,074-square-foot building that was developed in 2004.
