Citi announced Dec. 16 it will hire more than 100 workers across Jacksonville and Wilmington, Delaware, for its Internal Audit team.
Citi Internal Audit comprises more than 2,000 workers that provide coverage across the company’s global businesses and products.
The team provides independent assessments of the company’s governance, risk management and internal controls. It reports to Citi’s senior management and regulators globally.
The company said it is flexible about the number of positions that will be added in each city.
“At the moment, we don’t have an exact number for Jacksonville – the 100+ positions across both Jacksonville and Wilmington will support different audit functions and we’ll be flexible with the numbers in each location as our hiring strategy evolves,” a company spokesperson said in an email.
Citi says it has about 12 auditors in Jacksonville. The company says it is recruiting for the jobs and plans to hire throughout 2022.
The internal audit team in Jacksonville is at the Citi Solutions Center at 14000 Citicards Way.
The company says salary ranges vary for the positions.
In North America, Citi also has internal auditors in New York, Tampa, Irving, California, and Mississauga, Canada.
“We look forward to bringing talented, diverse and solutions-oriented individuals on board to join our team, who will become trusted partners to our businesses across Citi and help deliver on our work to foster a best-in-class risk and controls environment,” said Jessica Roos, chief auditor of Citi.
