RV One Superstores of Jacksonville said in a newspaper ad Dec. 26 it will hold a grand opening Jan. 7 of its Arlington dealership.
The dealership is at 8281 Merrill Road in Arlington.
Its RVOne.com/Jacksonville website and a countdown clock say the opening will be mid-January, later than the ad said in The Florida Times-Union.
The website said it will carry Forest River, Thor Motor Coach, Braxton Creek, Jayco, Highland Ridge RV, Heartland, Dutchmen, Cruiser RV and Airstream, it says on RVOne.com/Jacksonville.
The city approved a permit Nov. 23 for Welday Services Group, of Columbus, Ohio, to convert a former car dealership and service center at a cost of $1 million for RV One and Airstream of Jacksonville.
The project included renovating the building and reworking the parking lot to accommodate RVs.
The site, which is next to Interstate 295, originally was developed in 2004 by Crest Automotive Inc.
RV Retailer Florida Real Estate LLC of Fort Lauderdale bought the 7.5-acre site for $9 million on June 30. RV Retailer LLC is the applicant.
It bought the property from AMQ International Corp. of Seffner. Colliers Senior Director Gary Montour represented the seller.
RV One Superstores now has 16 dealerships, including seven in Florida.
Those include Airstream of Tampa.
