Retail Notes: Publix foundation in review at Northpoint Village; Mavis Discount Tire to Dunn Avenue

Fetch seeks certificate of use on Philips Highway.

The city is reviewing a permit application for the foundation for Publix Super Markets Inc. at 12541 Yellow Bluff Road in Northpoint Village in North Jacksonville.

The foundation cost is estimated at $50,000 for the 48,387-square-foot store. The shopping center is planned at northeast Yellow Bluff and New Berlin roads.

Mavis to Dunn Avenue

The city is reviewing civil engineering plans for Mavis Discount Tire at 910 Dunn Ave. in North Jacksonville.

Mavis said it will be Mavis Tires & Brakes.

Site construction plans show a 6,168-square-foot building on 0.6 acres at southwest Dunn Avenue and Monaco Drive.

The city is reviewing a permit for the estimated $685,000 construction of the seven-bay tire store. Bohler Engineering LLC of Tampa is the civil engineer.

MDP Equities LLC requests a zoning exception for the project, Mavis Tire Supply LLC, on the vacant site. 

Fetch moving along

Fetch Package Inc. applied for a certificate of use to operate in 7,600 square feet at 7658 Philips Highway, Suite 100. Austin, Texas-based Fetch is a package delivery service for apartment residents.

It accepts and stores packages from any carrier at its facility for delivery to apartment residents.
