Natural Life, a lifestyle brand for clothing, accessories, home décor and gifts, has a new place to live. St. Johns County is reviewing a rezoning application for Natural Life to convert a former Merrill Lynch building for the Natural Life corporate and creative studio space to include a small cafe/coffee shop and retail space for merchandise sales.
The building is at 510 Florida A1A N. in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. sold the 1-acre property Jan. 8 to NLPV LLC, led by Natural Life Collections Inc. CEO Patricia Hughes, for $3 million.
Natural Life has been operating online at naturallife.com. It leases space in Ponte Vedra Beach for its corporate office and it continues to lease a separate distribution center in West Jacksonville.
Pet Paradise opened its sixth Northeast Florida location at World Golf Village. The address is 291 Center Place Way in St. Augustine. Jacksonville-based Pet Paradise offers boarding, day camp, veterinary and grooming services.
The city is reviewing a permit application for Banfield Pet Hospital to build at 7923 Parramore Road near Costco Wholesale in Collins Town Center in Southwest Jacksonville.
David S. Ware Architects is the architect for the 4,552-square-foot shell building at an estimated cost of $590,000 on 0.51 acres.
Build-out would be permitted under a separate permit.
Walmart Stores LC applied to the city to renovate two stores at $500,000 each.
