The city issued a permit June 30 for a Walmart Health clinic in West Jacksonville.

It’s the third clinic permit in a week and the fifth Duval County clinic approved for Walmart.

The June 30 permit is for a $900,000 expansion for Walmart Health at the Supercenter at 6830 Normandy Blvd.

Golden & Associates Construction LLC of Birmingham, Alabama, is the contractor for the 7,600-square-foot expansion.

For the first four permits:

• Hutton Construction Co. Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is the contractor for the 6,534-square-foot clinic within the Walmart Supercenter at 10991 San Jose Blvd. at a cost of $1.02 million.

The city issued a permit June 29.

• Hutton Construction is the contractor for the $1.02 million project to add a 6,510-square-foot clinic within the Supercenter at 11900 Atlantic Blvd. The permit was issued June 10.

• Hutton Construction also is the contractor for the $1.02 million project to add a 6,510-square-foot clinic within the Walmart Supercenter at 4250 Philips Highway. The city issued that permit June 25.

• In March, the city permitted construction for a 6,495-square-foot Walmart Health clinic at the retailer’s Southwest Jacksonville Supercenter at 7075 Collins Road. Golden & Associates is the contractor for the $900,000 project that will be an expansion of the store.

Walmart Health offers primary care, urgent care, dental and lab services, imaging, counseling, and optical and hearing services.
