Jacksonville-based AutoQuotes LLC and Boston-based equity firm TA Associates announced June 29 they will form Revalize, a cloud software company headquartered in Jacksonville.

Business and city leaders joined Revalize executives at a news conference at AutoQuote’s Baymeadows office to release details. The company will expand its Jacksonville footprint and create 100 jobs, according to a news release.

Revalize CEO Jim Contardi said in an interview the company will partner AutoQuotes with four similar companies to provide business-to-business supply and revenue management software for manufacturers, component price quotes and data analytics for products such as commercial interior lighting, mechanical equipment and specialized pumps.

Contardi, the former AutoQuotes and Avitru chief executive, will lead the company.

Revalize will expand Autoquotes’ offices at 8800 Baymeadows Way by nearly 6,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet, he said.

Software Operating Executive Mark Friedman will be Revalize’s chairman.

The merger will expand AutoQuotes’ 3,500 corporate customers in North America and the UK to 8,000 globally as Revalize, Contardi said.

Contardi said the company will make more announcements this year.

JAX Chamber CEO Daniel Davis said he hopes to work with Revalize’s leadership on growth in Jacksonville.

“This is another example of an innovative company choosing to invest and expand here,” Davis said.

“Revalize could be anywhere and they are making our city their global headquarters because they know they can succeed here.”
