The Tru by Hilton hotel at 2970 Hartley Road in Mandarin is open for business.
Jacksonville-based Stellar, a construction management, design-build and general contracting firm, broke ground on the 106-room hotel in October 2019.
“Tru by Hilton fills a void in the lodging industry by providing travelers with high-quality guest rooms while supporting our local economy,” said Stellar Chairman Ron Foster Jr. in a news release.
Tru by Hilton properties feature rooms with a mobile desk, large bathrooms with premium bath amenities, a complimentary breakfast bar and a 24/7 market with gourmet snacks and drinks.
Technology features include mobile check-in, digital room keys and free Wi-Fi.
Karen Rosenstrom is the hotel’s general manager.
The grand opening ceremony for the property will be scheduled this spring.
A 750-plus-employee global architecture, engineering and construction firm, Stellar has experience in projects of all sizes, from continuing contract work to major projects.
The company serves public and private sector clients in the automotive, education, faith-based, health care, hospitality, industrial, military, office-retail, recreation and housing markets.
