St. Johns retail notes: Costco in review; Tire Outlet, Gate car wash and CVS take steps

St. Johns County is reviewing a permit application for Costco Wholesale to build a warehouse club and 18-pump fuel facility with parking, paving, curbing and site utilities along World Commerce Parkway.

The 156,911-square-foot facility is planned on 18.17 acres.

Tire Outlet

St. Johns County issued a permit for Tire Outlet to build a 6,720-square-foot store at 1215 St. Johns Parkway in Saint Johns at a cost of $700,000.

Gate car wash

Gate Express Carwash wants to build a 5,089-square-foot car wash on 3 acres of a 4.03-acre site at 2370 Florida 16 in St. Augustine in St. Johns County.

Plans show a 2,062-square-foot fast-food restaurant will be demolished.

7-Eleven in Durbin

St. Johns County is reviewing an application for 7-Eleven to develop a 4,650-square-foot gas station with eight fueling positions on Outparcel 10 at Durbin Creek Crossing.

The 2.5-acre site is south of Race Track Road and west of County Road 2209.

CVS in Nocatee

St. Johns County issued a permit for the $2 million construction of a 14,900-square-foot CVS Pharmacy at 630 Crosswater Parkway in Nocatee.

It is expected to open in early 2022.
