More than 1,000 positions will be offered for immediate hire at the Northeast Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association’s regional job fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18.
More than 50 employers comprising restaurants from fast casual to fine dining, full-service and limited-service hotels and other venues will interview applicants from entry level to management.
The job fair sites are:
• Prati Italia, 4972 Big Island Drive, The Markets at Town Center in Jacksonville.
• Four Points by Sheraton, 11 N. First St., Jacksonville Beach.
• Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 2300 Florida 16, St. Augustine.
• Atlantic Recreation Center, 2500 Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach.
“The Northeast Florida market is leading recovery from pandemic setbacks and labor shortages are inhibiting timely and quality service. Our members want to meet the expectations of our customers and help to get life back to normal,” said Scott Wellington, FRLA Northeast Chapter president and general manager at Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park, in a news release.
Coronavirus health measures will be followed and face masks are required.
