Brisa apartments in St. Johns County sold for $77 million

A California investment group bought the St. Augustine property that was completed in November 2020.

Brisa apartments in St. Augustine sold for $77 million on Nov. 2 at a per-unit price of $300,781.

Birmingham, Alabama-based Brisa Residences LLC sold the 256-unit property, which was completed in November 2020, to Brookline Investment Group of Aliso Viejo, California.

The apartments are at 40 Brisa Ave., 5.4 miles west of Anastasia State Park. The deed was recorded Nov. 2 with the St. Johns County Clerk of the Courts.

The apartments comprise 15 buildings on 22.11 acres.

Fifth Dimension Architects & Interiors of Birmingham designed the apartments. Units range in size from 658 square feet to 1,353 square feet with monthly rents of $1,453 to $2,511.

Interiors feature granite kitchen islands, ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms, and in-unit washers and dryers. 

Amenities include a saltwater swimming pool, a grilling pavilion and cabana, a conference room with a complimentary coffee bar, a 24-hour fitness room, a parcel package concierge, an electric car-charging station and a pet spa. 

The nonsmoking community offers 24-hour maintenance. Covered parking and garage space is available for an additional monthly fee.

Brookline was founded in 2013 and has about 5,000 units. Its other Florida property is the Wildgrass apartments in Riverview.
