Target Corp. intends to renovate its St. Johns Town Center store at an estimated cost of $953,428.

Target built the 124,000-square-foot store in 2005.

Walmart renovating at Beach Boulevard

Walmart Inc. applied to the city to remodel its 210,907-square-foot store at 8808 Beach Blvd. at a cost of $500,000.

No contractor was identified. Cuhaci & Peterson Architects Engineers Planners of Orlando is the contact.

Mandarin Family Dollar converting

 The city approved a permit Oct. 29 for conversion of the Family Dollar store at 10550 Old St. Augustine Road into a Dollar Tree.

Advanced Construction Services of Pittsburgh is the contractor for the $59,070 project to convert the 9,627-square-foot store in the Crossroads at Mandarin center.

Dollar Tree Inc. bought Family Dollar Stores Inc. in July 2015. 

Golden Corral demolition

Realco Recycling Co. Inc. applied to the city to demolish the closed 11,624-square-foot Golden Corral restaurant at 11470 San Jose Blvd.

Plans call for construction of a 76 gas station, Daybreak Market convenience store, car wash and adjacent restaurant on the 3.13-acre site, which is owned by Plaza Street Fund 115 LLC of Prairie Village, Kansas.
