Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd added four associate attorneys to its staff in Jacksonville.
• Ashleigh Brooks, born and raised in Jacksonville, graduated from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2017.
She began her legal career as an assistant state attorney in the 4th Judicial Circuit. At Taylor Day, Brooks focuses on workers’ compensation defense and personal injury protection benefits.
• Justice Elvish focuses her practice on automobile accident and personal injury protection defense.
Born in Canada and a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, Elvish was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2020. She is an associate member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.
• Taylor Schmidinger is a 2021 graduate of Brooklyn Law School in New York. Schmidinger interned at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Queens District Attorney’s Office. After relocating to Jacksonville, she clerked for Taylor Day.
Awaiting admission after passing the Florida Bar exam, Schmidinger will practice automobile accident and construction defense.
• Emina Sehovic, a native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, came to Jacksonville as a refugee and practices personal injury defense.
She received a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2019.
