Peterbrooke Chocolatier’s Downtown location will host a grand reopening event Oct. 15 in its redesigned shop in the VyStar Credit Union building at 100 W. Bay St.
The store temporarily was relocated into the VyStar Tower as the credit union renovated the West Bay Street space.
“It was tough to temporarily close our downtown shop while VyStar undertook large scale renovations to the building, but we’re happy to be back and better than ever,” Peterbrooke COO Jeff Smith said in a news release.
Peterbrooke occupies 1,433 square feet on the ground floor.
The first 500 guests at the grand reopening will receive free chocolate-covered popcorn. The event runs from 4-7 p.m.
Raffle drawings, wine tasting and chocolate sampling are planned for the event.
The recently reopened shop will offer Peterbrooke’s seasonal and corporate gifting items, truffles, Italian gelato, cookies, marshmallows and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
It also will offer team-building classes, summer camps, private parties, catering and custom gift baskets.
The store is open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
