With Building 9 under construction for lease to Bacardi USA in NorthPoint Industrial Park, Pattillo Industrial Real Estate wants to start construction on the foundation for Building 7.
The Conlan Co. is shown on a building permit application as the contractor for the foundation at a cost of $325,500.
The 314,900-square-foot building is planned on 18.88 acres at 3397 Port Jacksonville Parkway.
Pattillo Industrial Real Estate Vice President Peter Anderson, who has not confirmed that Bacardi will lease NorthPoint 9, said previously that both buildings were designed speculatively.
He said NorthPoint 9 would be for a single tenant and NorthPoint 7 can be leased to two tenants, starting at 120,000 square feet.
Completion of NorthPoint 7 is expected in the first quarter.
NorthPoint Industrial Park is designed for 11 buildings along Port Jacksonville Parkway between New Berlin Road and Alta Drive.
Atlanta-based Stone Mountain Industrial Park Inc., a Pattillo affiliate, owns the 362-acre NorthPoint.
