Retail Notes: Claire’s to River City Marketplace

The city approved a permit for the build-out of Claire’s in a 1,454-square-foot space at 13159 City Center Blvd., No. 103, in River City Marketplace at a cost of $123,023.

Reams Enterprises of Georgia Inc. of East Port, Georgia, is the contractor.

Claire’s, a fashion jewelry, accessories and decor store for what it says are “tweens, teens and young girls between 3 and 18 years of age,” has Northeast Florida locations in St. Johns Town Center and The Avenues and Orange Park malls.

Conn’s HomePlus to Jacksonville

Conn’s registered a fictitious name with the state July 26 for its Duval County businesses. Conn Appliances Inc. of The Woodlands, Texas, filed the name to do business in Duval County in Florida.

Conn’s HomePlus plans a retail store in the Regency Court Shopping Center in Arlington and a cross-dock warehouse in Lane Industrial Park in Northwest Jacksonville.
