San Marco-based Hoffman Integrated Marketing Communications is closing after about 30 years.
The closure should be complete by the end of the year, President Jeff Hoffman said Dec. 5.
The company, based at 1056 Hendricks Ave., has been informing clients and assisting employees with transitions, he said.
Hoffman declined to disclose the number of employees at the firm.
According to its website, clients over the years have included VyStar, UF Health, Trailer Bridge, Inc., Harris Bank, Center Bank of Jacksonville, American Lung Association, Jacksonville University, CSX Transportation and Space Coast Credit Union.
Hoffman did not disclose his age but said he was of retirement age. He said it was just time to close shop.
“We are working with our clients to ensure as smooth a transition as possible depending on their needs,” he said.
Hoffman said he and his wife, Lauren, are staying in the area, where his children and grandchildren also live.
He has no specific retirement plans other than to pursue a couple of personal projects and continue volunteer work.
Hoffman is not selling the company.
He is working to lease the company’s 2,813-square-foot building, which he owns.
