Starbucks wants to convert former San Pablo Wendy’s

Starbucks Coffee Co. wants to convert a former Wendy’s restaurant and drive-thru at Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road.

Starbucks proposes turning the Wendy’s site into a coffee shop and drive-thru at 14447 Beach Blvd. at an estimated cost of $500,000.

GDP Group of Cleveland is the civil engineering consultant.

Starbucks operates an in-line store at 14355 Beach Blvd., across San Pablo Road from the Wendy’s site.

The Seattle-based coffee chain has been replacing in-line stores with nearby stand-alone stores and drive-thrus.
