Jacksonville-based Dalton is the new agency of record for Visit Valdosta, the Valdosta-Lowndes County (Ga.) Conference Center and Tourism Authority.

Dalton and Visit Valdosta launched the new integrated marketing campaign “Valdostahhh” in late summer to promote tourism for the area, a news release said.

Integrated marketing uses multiple mediums to promote products, services or messages

“We are confident that Dalton is the ideal partner to help us promote South Georgia as a destination for leisure travelers, business meetings and conventions and everything in between,” said David DiSalvo, executive director of Visit Valdosta.

“We are proud to serve as Visit Valdosta’s Agency of Record,” said Jim Dalton, founder and chairman at Dalton.

“We have a robust client roster and extensive experience in the tourism and destination space, but Visit Valdosta is unique, and we have always appreciated fresh opportunities and collaborative partnerships.”

Jim Dalton started The Dalton Agency in 1989. It merged with the Bradford Group, a Nashville, Tennessee-based public relations, social media and content marketing agency, in April 2020, and changed its name simply to Dalton in October 2022.

The agency’s Jacksonville headquarters is at 140 W. Monroe St. in Downtown. It also has offices in Atlanta and Nashville.
