St. Augustine DoubleTree by Hilton sells for $28.75 million

The five-story structure was built in 1973 in the historic district.

The DoubleTree by Hilton at 116 San Marco Ave. in St. Augustine’s Historic District sold Dec. 20 for $28.75 million.

Driftwood Capital of Coral Gables, through 116 San Marco St. Augustine Owner LLC, sold the hotel.

The buyer is Radco Residential LLC of Atlanta through 116 San Marco STA LLC.

Driftwood Capital bought the property in June 2017 for $18.5 million from Summit Hospitality Management Group of Sanford, through 116 San Marco LLC.

Radco Residential LLC has apartment properties in Florida, Georgia and Virginia.

The hotel is on 1.23 acres and was built in 1973. It is a five-story structure and totals 56,781 square feet.

It has an outdoor pool, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, business center, a ballroom, meeting rooms, spa, and an on-site restaurant.

Rooms come with one king bed or with two queen beds starting at $166 per night during the week and $270 per night on the weekend.
