Jacksonville-based Gate Petroleum Co. is working on several convenience stores, gas stations and car wash sites in Northeast Florida.
Among them:
North Jacksonville
Northpoint Realty LLC, affiliated with International Management Co., sold property Oct. 4 at 12541 Yellow Bluff Road in North Jacksonville to Gate Petroleum.
Gate paid $1.85 million for the site, where it plans a gas station and convenience store at Yellow Bluff and New Berlin roads in the Northpoint Village Shopping Center.
It appears to be a 1.53-acre site. Prosser Inc. is the civil engineer.
Ponte Vedra
Gate Petroleum paid $2.5 million May 17 for property at 625 Florida A1A N. in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Plans have not been finalized for the site.
Kernan
Gate Petroleum paid $3.76 million Dec. 17 for property at northwest Butler and Hodges boulevards near Glen Kernan for a gas station, convenience store and car wash.
It bought it from the Kernan R. Hodges Revocable Trust and the Kernan R. Hodges Trust.

Town Center Parkway
Gate Petroleum Co. paid $1.4 million Oct. 18 for 1½ acres at southeast Town Center Parkway and Brightman Boulevard.
Gate Express Carwash plans a location on the site, which is behind the Gate convenience store at 4123 Town Center Parkway.
Gate Parkway
Developer Hines wants to rezone 1.35 vacant acres at Gate Parkway and Burnt Mill Road for a Gate Express Carwash.
Gate said it is under contract with S-15 Land Holdings Inc., a Hines affiliate. Rezoning is required.
Yulee
The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for a 5,089-square-foot Gate Express Carwash on 3 acres at southwest Florida 200 and Miner Road in Yulee in Nassau County.
Property owner BFC Property Holdings Inc. is Gate Petroleum’s wholly owned subsidiary for Gate Express Carwash.
Prosser Inc. is the civil engineer.
Parkway Village
St. Johns County issued a permit Oct. 7 for a Gate Express Carwash at 100 Village Commons Drive in St. Augustine.
Tim Young Construction Inc. is building the 5,089-square-foot project on 1.41 acres at a cost of $1.5 million.
The site is an outparcel at Parkway Village.
