Eastwind Development pays $3.65 million for Town Center area land

The Palm Beach Gardens company bought Skinner property for 278 apartments.

Eastwind Development LLC of Palm Beach Gardens paid $3.65 million for 4.6 acres along Brightman Boulevard it bought Dec. 15 from the Skinner family.

The deed was recorded Jan. 10 with the Duval County Clerk of Courts.

The site is south of the iFLY Jacksonville near St. Johns Town Center.

Eastwind bought the property through Astor Town Center LLC.

Stephen Novacki, Eastwind Development LLC vice president of development and acquisitions, said on LinkedIn in December that the company will develop 278 apartments. Groundbreaking is expected in February 2022.

Newmark Senior Managing Director of Land Sales Tyler Nilsson said Dec. 19 he represented the buyer, Eastwind Development. He said no other brokers were involved.

Nilsson said the site, next to The Oasis at Town Center, was the last piece of land the Skinners own in the Town Center area.
