Dunkin’ is holding a grand opening for Florida’s first Dunkin’ GO drive-thru-only store Jan. 29 at 1620 Country Road 210 W. in the Fountains at St. Johns in St. Johns County.
From 10 a.m.-noon, customers can take part in a prize wheel, decorating kits and giveaways.
The store, which opened in October, features a design with a digital focus. It has a walk-up window and a double drive-thru lane with a second ordering point with digital menu boards.
Dunkin’ said Jan. 27 in a news release the 1,200 square-foot location will be open 5 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. It employs 20 people. The site is east of Interstate 95.
Dunkin’ franchisee John Griffey of St. Johns Donuts owns the location. He owns and operates 14 Dunkin’ locations throughout Florida.
Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ sells coffee and baked goods. It has more than 12,600 franchised restaurants in 40 countries worldwide.
