TD Bank appointed Randy Estrada as retail market president for North Florida, which comprises Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, Daytona, Gainesville and Ocala.
He succeeds Chris Yancey. Felipe Basulto, South Florida retail market president, held the role on an interim basis.
TD Bank said in a Jan. 27 news release that Estrada leads 60 stores and manages a retail bank team of more than 500 employees.
The release said he will oversee business development activities for TD Bank’s retail banking business in the region, including designing and executing a market strategy for customer and employee experiences, supporting community engagement and partnering with the commercial bank team on small business sales strategy.
Estrada previously served as TD Bank’s retail market manager in Manhattan, where he helped to launch more than 10 stores, including TD’s flagship store in the new One Vanderbilt tower by Grand Central Station in November 2021.
Estrada first joined TD Bank in August 2006 and has served as a store manager.
“Randy brings nearly 30 years of retail banking experience to this role, and his immense knowledge of growing and developing business in TD’s largest market, and one of the largest banking markets in the country, will prove beneficial as TD continues to grow in North Florida,” said TD Bank Florida Metro Regional President Nick Miceli.
Estrada recently graduated from the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School.
