The Florida Bar President Gary Lesser appointed city Deputy General Counsel for Government Operations Lawsikia Hodges to the City, County & Local Government Certification Committee with a term ending June 30, 2025.

Hodges is board certified by The Florida Bar in city, county and local government law and a May 2022 graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.

Deputy General Counsel Regina Ross is JEA chief legal officer and a member of the Bar’s Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy Committee, appointed through June 30, 2023.

Her practice areas comprise procurement, contracts, real estate, eminent domain, public utilities, public finance transactions, federal regulation, economic development, tourist development, land use, administrative law, litigation, sovereign immunity, Sunshine Law, public records and ethics.
