Earthbound Trading Co. wants to open at The Avenues mall.
The city is reviewing a permit application for tenant alterations for the almost 2,000-square-foot store in Suite 260 near Forever 21 at the 10300 Southside Blvd. shopping center.
Grapevine, Texas-based Earthbound Trading sells “unique finds” ranging from bohemian fashion for men and women to eclectic gifts and home decor.
It has 136 stores across the country, including one in St. Augustine.
The city approved a permit May 9 for Ticon Commercial LLC to renovate the facade of Miramar Plaza at 3855 Hendricks Ave. at a cost of $550,000.
Nackashi & Nackashi LLC is the property owner.
Furniture Source opened a store in the former Sears store at 10302 Southside Blvd. in The Avenues mall.
The upper level of the two-story building is used for sales and the lower level is being used for storage.
The city issued a permit April 22 for Prism Design & Construction Inc. to change the first floor for storage space at a cost of $6,000 for Southeast Furniture Group Inc.
