Texas Roadhouse says it will open in mid-July in North Jacksonville

The restaurant chain is hiring and will employ 220 workers.

Texas Roadhouse said June 2 it plans to open its River City Marketplace restaurant in mid-July.

The company demolished the former Logan’s Roadhouse in the North Jacksonville shopping center and is building a 7,647-square-foot structure on almost 1.6 acres at 13130 City Station Drive near Best Buy.

The chain is known for its hand-cut steaks, ribs, sides, freshly baked bread, cold beer and margaritas.

Texas Roadhouse says it will employ 220 workers. Walk-up interviews are available 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at an on-site hiring trailer.

The restaurant hours will be are 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4-11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
