Restaurant Notes: Chick-fil-A changes at Ortega Park

Fine dining, retail and office space in works at at 10023 Beach Blvd.

Chick-fil-A wants to add a multilane ordering point, canopy and outside meal delivery canopy at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd. in Ortega Park at an estimated cost of $370,000.

Unidentified shops, restaurants

• A 1,250-square-foot coffee shop with 60 seats and a drive-thru is proposed along the east side of Old St. Augustine Road, south of Livingston Avenue.

• A 42-seat, 2,431-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru and an 18-seat outdoor patio is proposed at 9172 Baymeadows Road at Western Way. The city is reviewing civil engineering plans and the St. Johns River Management District is reviewing a permit for the project on 0.84 acres. Florida Retail Group LLC is the developer. Abbey Civil Engineers Inc. is the civil engineer.

• A 1,200-square-foot coffee shop and drive-thru is proposed on 0.9 acres at 5747 Atlantic Blvd., near River Bank Court and across from the Publix at Arlington River. The city issued a mobility fee calculation certificate, showing a $35,876 fee. MAI Engineering Services Inc. of St. Augustine is the civil engineer.

• The city issued a mobility fee calculation certificate for fine dining, retail and office space on 2.03 acres at 10023 Beach Blvd. The certificate, showing a fee of $69,222, outlines a new two-story, 22,400-square-foot building with retail space on the first floor and office space on the second, and a remodeled 6,110-square-foot building with a fine-dining restaurant on the ground floor and office space on the second. A 12,569-square-foot two-story building will be demolished. The property is east of Southside Boulevard
