The city issued a permit June 15 for the Morgan & Morgan law firm’s move from VyStar Tower at 76 S. Laura St. Downtown to 501 Riverside Ave. in Brooklyn.

Opus Group Inc. is the contractor for the interior renovation of 42,650 square feet of space on the 11th and 12th floors at a job cost of $834,088.

The space on the top two floors of the building was previously occupied by TIAA Bank. The headquarters of TIAA Bank moved to 301 W. Bay St. in Downtown.

Building leasing agent Christian Harden said in April that Morgan & Morgan negotiated the right to put a sign on the building, replacing TIAA’s signage.

The law firm’s Jacksonville office opened in 1988 and has 73 attorneys, according to martindale.com.
